JAN SHIKSHA is a national level education mission of JAN SHARNAM, which is committed to providing free education to underprivileged children. JAN SHARNAM believes that Education is most important to lead a happy life. Earlier the education system in India was so poor and undisciplined. Today also the education system is very poor. The poor people cannot afford to go in public schools so the drop out is very high in terms of education. Still major segment of India poor segment are not even seeing school at primary level. Low level of education for poor people made them vulnerable to the economic and political exploitation in their own country. Our project Jan Shiksha was initiated on 17th july 2016. We have initiated with 3 centres of free shiksha kendra- Noida, Kanpur & Raebareli currently,
It works for education of needy children who are under difficult circumstances, such as child labour, children of poorest of the parents, children inflicted and affected with HIV/AIDS, street and runaway children, children with rare disabilities, disaster struck children and slum children. Special emphasis is given on girl education and women education, so that they and their families get empowered.
The mission of this program is quality education to every child in India. Basic education is birth right of every child still many children are completely uneducated. Without a change in thought this mission can never be accomplished.
